Denise serves as the supervisor of the Public Benefits Department at Griffin & Griffin.  She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of South Florida and a graduate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Denise’s department assists the firm’s clients in qualifying for Institutional Medicaid and Veteran’s Administration benefits by implementing an action plan set forth by Attorney Griffin.  Denise’s additional roles involve assisting with recruitment and training of new staff and serving as community liaison for the firm.

In her free time Denise enjoys hiking, reading, yoga and planning adventurous getaways with her husband of 27 years. 


Tish Mollohan

Trust and Estates Coordinator

Tish serves as the Trust and Estates Coordinator at Griffin & Griffin.  Her responsibilities include the oversight of estate settlement and trust administrations as well as overseeing the firms guardianship cases.

​Tish holds her degree in legal studies Jones College.

Her free time is spent running, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband of 45 years, their three children and eight grandchildren.

Carrie Bailey Griffin is a partner in the law firm of Griffin & Griffin.  Her practice areas include Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, and long-term Care placement and Medicaid planning.  In addition to in-office consultations, Mrs. Griffin will provide out-of-office consultations and meetings for clients in their own home or at a facility.

Mrs. Griffin is licensed to practice law in Florida, New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.  She is a member of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section, Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, and Sarasota County Bar Association.

John T. Griffin, Esq. is board certified by The Florida Bar as an expert in Elder Law.  Mr. Griffin is a partner in the law firm of GRIFFIN & GRIFFIN. Mr. Griffin practices in the area of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Guardianship, VA Benefits, Medicaid Planning, Asset Protection, Probate, Elder Law Litigation and Special Needs Planning. Mr. Griffin is licensed to practice law in Florida.

Mr. Griffin’s professional associations include the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA), the Florida Bar Elder Law Section, the Florida State Guardianship Association (FSGA), the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Sarasota County Bar Guardianship Subcommittee.  Mr. Griffin is a proud graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was honored to serve as a teaching assistant for the University's Elder Law Clinic.

Mr. Griffin has served two terms as Chairman of the Nursing Home Resident’s Rights Special Committee for the Elder Law Section (ELS) of The Florida Bar. Mr. Griffin served as the 2010 Co-Chair of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section Public Benefits Seminar. He has also served as an Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA) Area Representative for the Sarasota region and as the 2007-2008 Chairman of the Sarasota County Bar Guardianship Sub-committee. Mr. Griffin has served as a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association Estate Planning Section Planning Committee. Mr. Griffin currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society Area Unit.

Mr. and Mrs. Griffin were married in 2007 and are proud of their two wonderful children, Trevor and Kaitlyn.

As the Estate Planning Coordinator at Griffin & Griffin, Lori’s responsibilities include the drafting and execution of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives and Living Wills.  Under the direction of the attorneys, she also prepares other legal documentation designed to preserve our clients’ assets during their changing life circumstances.

A graduate of West Chester University, Lori also has over twenty years’ work experience in corporate, agency and small office environments.

Lori is a member of S.W.A.T. (Successful Women Aligning Together), a women’s professional business organization. She also volunteers for and attends fundraising events benefitting the Sarasota County elder community.

Lori’s free time activities include guitar, exercise, the arts and spending time with her family.

Pauline serves as the Public Benefits coordinator assisting the firm’s clients qualify for Institutional Medicaid and Veteran’s Benefits. She also serves as the community liaison for the firm.

Pauline is an RN from Great Britain. She has worked with the senior population in Sarasota since 1986 including the Assisted Living arena as Executive Director for many years.

In her free time Pauline enjoys walking the beach, exercise, traveling and spending time with her husband and friends.
